Who is Kaz...
Kaz
As the founder of MLF Move for life with Kaz, she has combined decades of nursing and midwifery experience with a passion for movement and strength. She understands the body from the inside out – and believe fitness is more than exercise; it’s confidence, care and connection.
Kaz’s philosophy:
Move with purpose, strengthen with care and believe in your ability to thrive at any age.
At 64, Kaz is living proof that age is no barrier to strength, movement, or personal growth. A nurse, midwife, mother, veteran and lifelong learner, Kaz’s life has always been dedicated to empowering others — even as she built confidence and courage in herself along the way.
With Cert III and IV in Fitness, Kaz combines professional health knowledge with practical, safe, and effective movement strategies. Her philosophy is simple: strength creates safety, safety unlocks mobility, and confidence follows naturally. Whether guiding someone through a weight training session, functional strength training, mobility exercises, or nutrition support, she meets every individual where they are — helping them move with purpose and freedom.
Kaz’s personal journey is as inspiring as her professional credentials. She joined the Army at 55, demonstrating that new challenges and growth can begin at any stage of life. She also performs aerial silks and lyra, proving first-hand that flexibility, coordination, and courage don’t fade with age — they evolve when trained with care.
Her approach is rooted in mind-body connection, nervous system awareness, and sustainable habits. She believes that small, consistent steps — thoughtful strength work, mindful movement, and proper nutrition — lead to lasting transformation. Her sessions and programs are designed to help people move confidently, think clearly, and feel strong in their bodies, regardless of their starting point.
At MLF Move for Life, Kaz has created a community where everyone is supported, encouraged, and empowered. Her teaching blends science, care, and lived experience, showing that every body is capable of growth, resilience, and joy — at any age, any ability, and any stage of life.
“Your body’s potential never expires — it just needs reassurance to move again.”
